Looking for affordable hassle-free catamaran sailing experience! An opportunity exists to own a 1/16th share in this 2010 Seawind 1160 sailing catamaran which provides you eight weeks cruising per annum. As an added bonus, the vessel’s time is split between Pittwater in Sydney and the beautiful Whitsunday Islands in Queensland. This optimises the weather and usable time all year round, as well as enabling owners to experience two very different sailing grounds. Owner’s also have the opportunity to partake in the coastal sailing trips during the vessel’s relocation if they wish. This 1160 owner's version provides: three cabins including an entire hull dedicated to the owners, sleeping for eight in total, two toilets/showers, an excellent fully equipped galley, and the popular open plan design which combines the saloon and cockpit spaces. Outdoor entertaining spaces are extensive with an excellent sized cockpit, safe walk-around decks, and large foredeck. Twin Yanmar diesels deliver economical reliable cruising, and the vessel is fully equipped with Raymarine navigation equipment including C120W plotter, wind, radar, and autopilot. Rigging and sails are all in good condition. The vessel is well managed by an experienced syndicate who are all owners, and have in place an excellent maintenance schedule. One of the best set of syndicate By-Laws are in place to ensure the syndicate runs smoothly, and the annual fees are currently only $6,800. Why hire a Seawind 1160 for only a week and be restricted in where you can visit, when for the same cost, you can enjoy eight weeks sailing annually without the restrictions. There is simply no cheaper way to enjoy eight weeks of luxury sailing for the price.

Remarks The vessel’s time is divided between Pittwater in Sydney where is located over the summer months, and Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays where it operated over the winter period. Members share the relocation passages as they can. There is a time contribution from each member's annual weeks for relocation passages. It's fantastic; do a small amount of the cruise up or down the coast, or if your timetable precludes, another member will cover. Alternately you might choose to combine your allocation and have extended cruising, it's your time; it's your boat.
