This 2005 model 14.5m sailing catamaran makes an excellent cruising vessel and comes with the added bonus of one of the best layouts we’ve seen in a vessel this size. The owner’s cabin, saloon and galley are all on the main deck so no needing to go down into the hulls except for storage.

The owner has had a liveaboard vessel manager since he has owned and has performed an upgrade program. As such the vessel presents in very good condition throughout.

Features 3 cabins including a full queen size owner’s cabin, there are two heads and an internal shower; extensive galley with gas cooking and separate Isotherm fridge and freezer units, and a large saloon area featuring a drop-down table if more sleeping room is required. The design offers loads of natural light and airflow. Outside is a large rear cockpit, easy walk side decks with solid railing, and a huge foredeck for addition entertaining.

Two Yanmar diesels with less than 500 hours provide the propulsion, and a generator and 11 solar panels are included so power is never an issue. To top it off there is a 180lph water maker. Rigging is all good, and the sails are in very good condition. There is both electric and manual winches, and a 3.6m Swift centre console tender with 40hp outboard is included.

A 2017 survey report and 2017 rigging report are available with both reporting all was good. Extensive photos of the build process is also available to interested buyers. This sailing catamaran carries both Queensland and Australian registration, is ready to sail away, and is one of the most liveable cruising cats of this size we have seen on the market at this price. An inspection will not disappoint.

Remarks GBR Boat Sales sold this boat to the current owner. She has been lovingly used as a holiday apartment on the water and for local sailing trips. The owner has upgraded many items during the ownership which includes but is not limited to new diesels inboards and a new paint job. The layout offers plenty of scope for alterations if the new owner sees fit. The vessel has also benefited from a liveaboard fulltime skipper who maintains the vessel to a high standard. Construction photos are also available.
